That sounds like the duplicate users online issue, but that was sorted a good while ago. You would have to be running quite an outdated version of PunBB, (or possibly using postgresql), for that to happen.

If you search for "double post"  on that forum, you see that it has happened quite a lot before.. But it seems to correct itself after some time?

They look like double posts, but they're actually the same post with the same id:

Can anyone explain it? I assume it's a bug in the parser?
We've had it before, but I can't find those at the moment.
