That could probably be done easily with an extension.

It was already 'done' in version 1.3 .... now in 1.4 the links open in the same window. Many users have complained about this (and many other things in 1.4)
Can you point me to where this extension is?

just open manifest.xml in editor - change maxtested to 1.4.1 and see if it works...

okay but on my forum i have an EXTERNAL LINK... it's possible to open in new windows ?
