how do you add moderators to forums?
You can change the status of any member in Admin -> Users. Search for the user you want to change the status of, bottom of the profile page you have something like User Administration (don't know exactly, mine is in Dutch) and there you can switch between Member, Moderator, and Admin. Be logged in as Admin to do this.
Actually, it's not in admin/users. You do all this from the users profile.
First, go to the users profile and change his status (at the bottom). Then have a look at his profile again and you will see a list of forums with checkboxes.
