The cache directory is located in the root of your install.

I deleted a user registration that slipped through fancy_stop_spam but the username still shows up on the index.php as the "Newest registered user". Clicking the link for the user profile gives the bad request message.

punbb version 1.4

Nevermind. I figured out the problem. My cache directory had incorrect permissions. I had changed them once already, but somehow it didn't take.

I am trying to upgrade from 1.3.6 to 1.4 but I am encountering a loop that during the database update step.

Going to index.php tells me that my database is out of date and that I need to update it. Then going to db_update.php tells me that "Your database is already as up-to-date as this script can make it."

In the database my o_cur_version is listed as 1.4

What can I do to get things working again?

Thanks.

Is there any way that you could restrict the domain that the iframe points to?

has anyone worked on this further? I would also like my members to be able to use iframe but am nervous about the security risks.

I just found a different copy of the code that seems to work not sure what the difference is, but in case anyone is looking for it here is the code that worked for me.

However I am getting the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /active_topics.php on line 18

I am not sure what this means. Any help?

Ok, I think I found the problem. I didn't see the trailing / that was left in my base_url.   So instead of http://www.website.com   I had  http://www.website.com/

Changing this fixed the problem.

Ok,

I tried changing my base url to http://www.website.com because that is the location that forum.php is now located. However this did not solve the problem. Is there another way I can find the problem?

Thanks

I am trying to add a portal to my forum, but now I am getting the bad HTTP_REFERER error.

My forum moved from www.website.com/forum to www.website.com/forum.php.   I updated my base_url in the database and cleared out the cache directory yet I still have the problem. I do not have Norton so that isn't the problem.

Am I correct in assuming that my new base_url should be  http://www.website.com/forum.php?

Thanks for any help.
