When viewing RSS feeds, HTML inside BBCode for 'code' in posts gets parsed by, at least, both Firefox 3 and IE 7 on Windows XP. It should not be so.

Many PunBB administrators want to allow HTML in posts (not BBCode). PunBB obviously does not support this because of security risks involved (JavaScript code, etc.) and because of writers submitting invalid or layout-breaking HTML.
htmLawed is a single-file, ~45 kb, non-OOP HTML filtering-cum-purifying PHP script that can address such issues. Perhaps PunBB developers can have a look at it and consider using it to implement optional allowance for HTML in posts.
