That worked. thanks.

Hi,

I just installed all the official extensions from the zip at the top of this page: http://punbb.informer.com/extensions/#1.4. Now I see a list of errors on my 'Manage extensions' page that looks like this:

IMPORTANT! The extensions listed below were found in the extensions folder but are not available for install or upgrade because the errors displayed below were detected.
Loading of extension "attachments" failed.
Missing manifest.xml.
Loading of extension "style" failed.

Since I couldn't find any install instructions I just unzipped the 'extensions.zip' folder and copied the contents to my forum 'extensions' folder. Is that wrong? Should I manually delete everything that isn't in a folder? Some basic install instructions would be nice smile thanks!

Registration Captcha is broken in v1.4. Antispam System Version 1.3.4 Official plugin should work out of the box no?

After 3 hours trying to upgrade about to revert back to v1.3.

Hi,

I suggest you modify the upgrade instructions to make them slightly less ambiguous for non punbb experts:

"3: Overwrite the old files with the new ones." Does this mean a windows-style - replace only newer files, or a mac-style - trash entire folder and replace with new files? I'm guessing it means overwrite only newer files.

"5: Clear the cache directory." - does this mean delete everything in /forum/cache?

"7: Update all the extentsions." - How?

Most importantly - Move this "Switch off or remove the pun_repository extension: it hasn't been updated for PunBB 1.4" from 'Recommendations' to step 2, since enabling it breaks the forum and requires a restore back to v1.3.

thanks!

Just hit the same issue. When auto upgrading Antispam System to v1.3.2, captcha no longer appeared. Setting antispam extension folder to 755 fixes it. thanks!

there needs to be a mod that allows admins to verify the registration of a new user manually

You can manually verify a newly registered user by adding them to the 'members' group. This is handy if the new user does not receive their verification email.

I'm having issues with v2.1 banning legitimate users who use HTML in their posts. Users tend to get very upset when they are wrongly banned smile Is there any way to tweak the ban logic?

Also, is there a way to see a list of the banned posts? That would be very useful to determine if someone should be unbanned.

Thanks for working on this plugin! I'm currently testing Akismet extension v1.1 but it seems a bit flakey (incorrectly banning users, not banning spam posts) so I'm very happy there is a new version in active development.

Is the v 2.1 download here the latest version : http://quirm.net/download/42/ ?

Also, can you please provide install/upgrade instructions?

Thanks!
