I'm just wondering as my host is upgrading a lot of thing a PostgreSQL databases have just been added. I was wondering if I should use them for things like PunBB and textpattern instead. And is there any way to transfer the data over if so?

Will at least that's something. I'm getting tired of restrictive gifs.

I hope they fix the colour on there PNG "support" too otherwise it's pretty useless.

its more complete, but has no archive, going to add archive functionality to miniportal mod

That's a great addon but involves changing an awful lot of stuff, since I only want to the news feature i'd rather get yours working.

I think i've found the problem (bare in mind this is my first time in phpmyadmin).

I checked all the tables tick boxes and selected Anazlye and then check. They all came back saying "Table is already up to date" and "OK" expect .online which said "The storage engine for the table doesn't support c..."

I ticked them all and selected repair but the .online one said "The storage engine for the table doesn't support repair"

I clcik on the online table from the side menu. I noticed it said  Overhead 627 Bytes in red.

What now?

Just what I was looking for although I can't get it to work :-P

A small "HOW TO" might be good.

Yep. The peekaboo bug. Tis a pain in the ass. I'm sure I was given a link on how to fix it. I just got to find it and do it.

I'm aware of that one on A List Apart, but from what I read in the comments it has many flaws and uses old code.

I'm a complete newb when it comes to PHP. Can anyone link me the a really good one?

It would be great if you could have a choice between setting it on a cookie or using sessions.

PunBB really is the best forum on the net. I'm always going to phpBB, proboard, vBulleten etc based forums and thinking how slow and crap they are compared to PunBB.

Will this mean I have to edit my custom CSS?

Thanks Paul smile

Notice the blues lines under each form element. I like to make them the same colour as the background but I can't remember what controls their colour.

Something to do with X-Men isn't it?

I'm assuming I change this bit but to what?

// For extern.php RSS feed
'RSS Desc Active ' => 'The most recently active topics at', // board_title will be appended to this string
'RSS Desc New' => 'The newest topics at', // board_title will be appended to this string
'Posted' => 'Posted' // The date/time a topic was started

);
