It keeps saying Live bookmarks failed to load in Firefox.

Thanks paul smile. It's now changed.

The bright blue under my user details.

The cache directory does have the right permissions (7,7,7) but the documents inside don't should I change them all to 7,7,7?

It was working fine when I first installed PunBB 1.2

No point. XHTML 1.0 is newer than 1.1

Should be fixed in IE but it looks better in any other browser.

My knowledge of PHP = none

What would I have to do? If it doesn't take to long to explain.

Forgive my ignorance but how would I make it output to index.php in my sites root directory?

Did Rickard release the news plugin yet?

The advantages aren't worth the effort.

At least put a text link, it's good advertising for PunBB too as it appears on the Spead Firefox page everytime someone clicks it. But whatever it's up to you.

Two steps to avoiding spyware:

That's a great start but even then the odd bit will still find it's way in.

Btw, what happened to your "Get Firefox" button on the front page?

I'm actually impressed with this; it found way more expoits than both Ad-aware and Spybot.

It's beta at the moment so get it while it's free.

I could release something tonight. I don't like the fact that people have raised expectation as to what it can do. It's extremely simple smile It just takes topics from a specific forum and outputs them according to a small template. It spits out  an index.html containing e.g. the latest 10 posts and then month-based archives (e.g. 2004-12.html) for the rest of the topics in the forum.

That's all I need smile. If you could release it tonight that would be excellent.

Any idea when we can expect the news plugin? I'm not asking for a specific date but just a general estimate; so I know if it's worth asking my mate to make me a basic one in the meantime.

Or it's a transparent PNG set as the background image. It won't work in IE but not much does.

My upgrade from 1.1.5 was also flawless, good job smile

Thanks to Paul for the CSS it was much easy to apply my colour scheme.

sounds like he wanted the whole site wink

The news plugin, that's the one I wanted. Hopefully I can redesign my site before it comes.

As good as the new PunBB site is copying it's look and layout would be pretty cheap smile

well you won't be getting it since rickard doesn't want people copying the PunBB.org homepage

I don't think anyone wants to copy the PunBB homepage. I just want the ablity to display the posts in my news forum of the front page. Since I have no php knowledge to speak of I was hoping someone whould tell me how to do this.

I remember hearding somewhere from Rickard that he was releasing a plugin so people could do this. Or was this just a dream?

I'm looking forward to that too. I don't  mind waiting as you need your rest.
