That made you sound a tad big headed.

i wish everyone used opera

I love Firefox but I don't wish EVERYONE used it. Monopolies are always bad. The only browser I wish people didn't use is IE, because i'm constantly having to dumb my sites down for it.

If everyone used one browser that browser would have to do what the majority wanted. It's great that their are so many browsers with different ways of putting over their features. That way the user can choose which best suits them.

Think of it like PunBB, phpBB, Invision Power Board, vBulletin etc would we all be better off if everyone used phpBB?

I actually don't mind waiting if it means a more solid product.

PunBB 1.1.5 is more then enough to keep me happy at the moment.

I started out as a Mac user. I loved my old iMac but the price and compatibility the PC sucked me in. PC's can be very fast an effective if you know what you're doing and how to maintain it. The Apple laptops still make my mouth water though.

I recently discover Linux (SuSE 9.1 Pro), VERY interesting but it still aimed too much at the real power user. Definitely one to keep an eye on though; it was lighting quick, infinitely customizable, very pretty (that's be the old KDE) and very secure. Plus it came with a massive amount of free applications on the 4 discs; not just any old rubbish either, full quality apps.

I'd still be running a dual boot if it worked on my new Dell laptop.

LOL! That is the story of my life too.

I do the exact same thing all the time. My website has been "under construction" for god knows how long. And i've been putting off uni work for weeks now.

Good good. Then I think a close topic might be in order before people who haven't read the whole topic get nasty again.

This has probably been reported but http://punbb.org/forums/help.php is pretty unreadable with the cobalt theme.

XHTML is the way forward... the new standard. It is replacing HTML so it is best to keep up to date with the standards. Since the forums utilise CSS more it is only natural that they become XHTML.

Besides all the cool kids are using it wink

http://forums.firefusion.org/

You were right.  Thanks.

It's meant to have a menu in the title bar like the main page. I tried uploading it six or seven time but nothing has changed.

Yes I edited the main.tpl file in the template folder. I've done it before and it worked fine.

Firefox 1.0

...that doesn't take a degree in computer science to install and run. I was very impressed with what the Firefox team did with Drupal on spreadfirefox.com. But trying to install the latest version was far to complicated for me and using it is even worse.

I want to convert this section of my site to CMS www.firefusion.org/lue (I know it looks bad at the mo i've been waiting to use CMS before I change it).

I'm looking for something that's no harder to customise and run than PunBB.

UPDATE: I found Textpattern. And i'm loving it.

Bush's were far worse. His team actually said if he wasn't elected as president terrorists would attack the US. I can't remember who it was on his team but it was on the new here.

Sure, but how do you get rid of it without zapping it? Or does it just sit there until I prune the boards?

Shouldn't there be some other options other than just Zap? Like if it's wrongly marked so you can remove it from the reports list?

Cool thanks

I want to move my forums from www.firefusion.org/Boards to www.forums.firefusion.org

Can I move them without reinstalling?

So how can I fix this? Or is that a question I should be asking my host?

I'm only using 30MB of my 2GB of space but I am new at creating MySQL databases so maybe I missed something out?

I don't know what it was but it seems to have gone.

It's happened again
