Im really sorry but I have yet another question. 

I would like to put a hit counter in my footer.  So I opened up my footer.php file and I see where to put it but I cant get it to work well.

Ok so here is my counter (also, can you change the background color to a gray color so it matches my skin?  or on a linked counter can you not change that?)

Now when I put the code in my footer, I can get it to line up but before the footer itself it shows this <

Maybe im putting this in the wronge place but im placing this code right above

Is their a way to update the forum's database?

Because, if you create a new page with this mod it makes the page like this page.php?id=*

Well I have made a few pages, but if I delete them all then go back it starts at the last number.

i/e.  I made a page.  its link is page.php?id=8   I deleted all 8 of my pages.  I make a new page and it goes to page.php?id=9 instead of back to 0.

Get what im saying?

I havent been here much anymore because I use invision power board, but I am thinking of not using it anymore.  I like the setup of this forum software, very simple, nice layout, fast loading, ect.  Anyways, is there a way that I can make it so only admins are allowed to post html in sertain forum topics?  I have a portal on mine, and I made the portal so I could have news and stuff, but I cant put any pictures up, or have any of the features that I could with using html.

Is their anyway I could do something like this?

Ok I heard the best way to do this is by .htaccess

Now I have been trying to figure out how to do this and its not working.  Im using WAMP5

Here is my directory

D:\public_html\www

in the www folder is my website

now lets say I have this folder

D:\public_html\www\omgiwantthisprotected\

and I want the user name and password to me "test"

How would I do this?  I have google searched and everything but no luck.  My .htaccess file isnt finding my .htpasswd file.

Ok I just installed wamp.  I got my mySQL database set up and its working fine (by this i mean I have my own username and have it password protected).  Now I just have a few questions.

How can I solve these.

1. When I try to install the forums Apache grabs my config.php file and sets that as the main page.  I want a main page to be a file called index.* unless I state to use a different file by use a .htaccess file.

2. I would also like this to be a little secure.  You can access my phpmyadmin by doing this.   localhost/phpmyadmin/
super unsecure   If possible have it so you have to use a username and password to see the phpmyadmin zone.

3. Same with SQL lite.  I dont want it to bring to http://localhost/sqlitemanager/

4. Do i have to configure apache or php to use a .htaccess or is it already configured to look for that file?

Their are a few questions that I really need to be figured out quickly so a hacker dosnt come and destroy my system
