Hello,

Sorry for the long answer, but I was pretty busy in recent days.
I am currently installing this extension, after enabling the option for the guests, it works.

Eg: http://nonante.eu/post/80284/

The problem would therefore be one of the extensions installed, at least that's what seems most plausible.

Thank you dimkalinux

The problem appears to be that I am an idiot. I couldn't find the guest setting and was only seeing two options:
- Show similar topics
- Search similar topics

It works perfectly now. Many apologies for the hassle and my retardness.

do a search in the forum. There is an addon for it and it works fine

other people must have this problem but they probably don't notice it because they're always logged in

does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

I have configured all the relevant settings and this feature is still not working for guests  sad

Edit: could it be some conflict with another extension?

Not sure whether this is some problem with my forum settings or what... but this extension does not seem to work unless the users are logged in.

Any clarification on this would be appreciated.

I agree.... as previously stated on

This is not really a bug but if you have the tag extension installed as well as the "save draft" extension then saving a draft post does not save the tags details. I am not sure whether or not this can be classified as a bug but I have both these extensions installed and find this problem rather annoying.
Thanks in advance to anyone who will fix this

is there any chance of adding the attribute rel="nofollow" for external links posted in the forum messages.(To help SEO). This would stop getting bad search engine rankings based on bad websites linked to by forum users,

link to extension thread

@Nonante thanks for the reply.

When you say "queries"; are you referring to SQL queries?

The reason I ask is because the images in this thread are not showing

I like to install this extension but the download does not work

ttt for this

ttt for this extension

I would love to see this feature

I was thinking in the profile section where you have ICQ, MSN, Website etc. It would be nice to have fields for Facebook, twitter and google profile because these are used more and more nowadays.

Am I the only person who likes the thread title as the link as opposed to the date/time?

SEO

That sounds very good. I don't really care about a thread description but the idea of that text being used for meta description is very appealing. Also if meta keywords could be manually entered I would really make use of it. Because I use my forum instead of a cms.

Why have a page where people can comments when you can have a forum post and people can not only comment but do so much more. Engage the user on the website wink

Anyway, I talk too much but I would really like to see manual meta description and keywords.

I think all links should have it.

Because if members of a forum post links to "bad" sites, the site with the forum will suffer in its search engine rankings as a result.

Unless you have vigilant moderators and content inspectors it is difficult to weed out the bad links. Particularly on my forum I allow "Guest" posting as well.

The rel="nofollow" attribute will deter some spammers(those who are doing it for search engine rankings)

Edit: What is everyone else's opinion on this?

Edit2: Should such a feature be implemented as an extension?
