i did use phpmyadmin but i didnt zip it. it's like 46 megs 
. so i should contact my host to get help?

okay so i was messing with my forum and host and so i made a database backup of my forum. now how exactly do i put it back up? should i go through phpmyadmin or this backup thing i have on my hosting cpanel? i dont get how i reinstall the forum and then import the database. if the backup is corrupt is there someway to salvage the posts table and the users table from it? HELP!

what's the easiest way to upgrade from 1.2.5? i have extremely limited knowledge with mysql and i'm not sure how to backup my databases . how can i upgrade while keeping my forum running smoothly?

i tried to install a frontpage mod, but it messed up so i tried to revert back to my old stuff and now all my smilies are forced to be one size. as a result many of them or scrunched and unreadable. i tried reinstalling the mod for that (easysmilies) but that didn't work. i also cleared the table in mysql database. plz help!!!

i got my message board up and as of recently it has become quite popular, however my webhost kind of sucks and i NEED to change hosts. however is there anyway i can save my message board or atleast some of it and transfer it over? if this is possible, how would i go about doing so?
EDIT: if i do a CPanel site copy that would most likely save everything right?

for some reason every once in a while the forum will "double post" when i make 1 click to submit. i even turned the flood interval up to make sure (it was disabled) and i still have the problem. when i try to delete the double post, it deletes both posts.
