Well just delete the database, install PunBB again and type the correct Base URL this time? Besides, since when did changing base URL require the correct base url?

It's a SQL command. Access your (my)SQL database, USE yourpundatabase; SHOW TABLES; REPAIR TABLE tablename; on all tables.

Hmm, i think having a forum for Admin/+Mods only would fit the purpose pretty well. Use the extended Forum Access mod if necessary.

It's impossible to keep track  of every little thing you do on the forum, it would be way to clumsy. Therefore, it's not exact but still handy. I recommend using the "Mark all threads as read" button at the bottom of the index page when you've read everything useful.
