Is there a way to make my main index (such as www.atvforums.net) open my main index of my forum (such as www.atvforums.net/punnBB/) WITHOUT using a meta redirect/refresh?

I would love for www.atvforums.net.com be my main index of my forum without redirecting!

Am I missing a way to assign a particular 'User Group' to moderate a forum category?  Or is the only way to moderate a forum, is with a particular username?  The reason I ask, is I would like to have the 'Moderated by:' a little shorter with just one user group, instead of 10 different moderator names.....

And no, I would like to have it visible to members that it IS being moderated, so hiding the moderated by:  is probably not an option.

Thanks!

That all depends on your host provider.  Yea you can just delete the folder via FTP, but you will still have your database.  If your host provides phpMyAdmin, that would be the easiest way to do it.  Im not sure of any other options, but Im sure someone will help soon.  Good luck.

This does not work on punBB 1.2.7, I get an error saying 'Registered user cannot be fetched.'

Can I change the name of my main directory where the punBB files are located WITHOUT screwing anything up?

I simply wish to change the name of the folder to /forum/ via FTP.

How about a mod to show a random image from the gallery on the forums index somewhere?  Not necessarily a block (For those of us who have not implemented the 'Frontpage' mod), but like, 3/4 images in a table the width of the table forum....on the bottom, or the top of the forum.

EDIT::::  Never mind, I finally figured it out!  I re-did all the new line adding and everything and everything seems to be working fine, I must have made a mistake somewhere.  ::::EDIT

Thanks, that worked fine!  smile

I have recently added some code to my 'userlist.php' file so that only the Administrators can see the actual Users List.  However, I really do not have any use for this.  How do I delete it off of the actual Navigational Bar on the top of every page with all the links on it?

Thanks in advance!

I would like to give a big thanks to this site and Rickard.  This is the 1st time I have ever really HEARD of, let alone used, a punnBB forum, and Iam very, very happy with it.  So far, I have not had any major issues, and there are some good mods and styles out there as well.  Thanks a lot for all this tremendous amount of work being done on this project, applauds for all involved!

I have installed this properly, everything seemed to be find during installation and afterwards when I had to add some lines in admin_options.php, footer.php, etc.

However, now when I go into administration to try and find this plugin/mod, nothing is there.  Its not in my profile either to be able to "Send messages" or what not.  Its basically physically NOT there, although the files and folders are all in the server FTP itself.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
