Hey guys like the others I am not so good at php and was wondering How I can make a php page user/password protect.
What I want to do is give permission to certain users on punBB forum to access that page so what coding would I use to check for their user/pass to grant them permission to view that page?
any help is appriciated!

Hey guys I finally decided to lose drupal and use punBB all the way 
Ok but before I can I need some suggestions.
First off this is the layout for our new version:

As you can see I want users to login from the site as the same loging in to the forums, basically what I want is to have some user settings on the site based on the punBB DB. Which means if the user logs in on the site he/she is already loged in on the forum but on the site he/she will have additional features and when they look at the forum they will see those features gone or w/e.
So anyhthing you guys can help me do? maybe a tutorial somewhere that will help me? anything will be great.
Hope you guys understand and comment.
