Innan beta är det väldigt svårt att spå ett datum, speciellt med idéella projekt.

När tror du vi alla kan få ta del av en beta? smile

There's a free book from Apress: http://www.apress.com/free/index.html

Is it a good thing to learn PHP 4.0 now?

I've now started to test out Eclipse, it feels pretty solid and it does what I searched for, and as a bonus I can use Consolas in cleartype smile

Feels like it could be a keeper smile

(I just saw that Xumix mentions it on page 2 ... I wonder if I missed it or just didn't figure out how it worked when I first went through this thread?)

Aye, Eclipse is a very nice IDE, if an IDE is what you're looking for.  You can get a version that's designed especially for LAMP development:
http://www.easyeclipse.org/site/distributions/lamp.html

Is that the same thing as http://www.eclipse.org/php/ but the difference is that it got Server and Database included?

Hi, I want to learn PHP and MySQL, someone who can recommend a good book for this? One big plus if it has "Practical Examples". For example how you build an CMS or something like that.

If you give me a link to a webpage where I can buy it, make sure I can order the book here from Sweden. wink

Thanks in advance. big_smile

EDIT: You think this is a good book? smile

EDIT2: Ahh crap, old book.

yup ... think you need to have the directory as include path to get it to 'feel' all variables and such ... (the files are clickable so one can see what function is in what file smile)

Thank's for finding this! smile

EDIT: Wait a sec... I have used this before... I think. big_smile

Profile -> Display -> Select your preferred style.

Or, did I misunderstand you? :>

Use Custom Pages mod, create a page and then add it to the menu bar. The footer and header is always included(?).
