Hey ONE QUESTION!!! I would like to do the update from 1.2.12 to the new one but I have done a lot of changes and added a lot of mods and themes to the one 1.2.12. When I do the update all of that is going to change is there a way to upgrade the PunBB 1.2.12 to the 1.2.13 and have the same settings as before??? or do I have to do everything again?

Hey smartys wow thanks for your help. I know it does work with gmail. That was my question gmail users do get the emails but people from hotmail, or msn don't and optonline.net don't get them too. So, like I said before my setup is very simple pretty much I just have IIS smtp server running with very little configuration. I don't even get email back because I don't know how to setup outlook to work with the server. So i can send but not receive (pretty dumb but thtas all I have for now) so yeah. Any advise you can give me is really appriciate it. THanks agian..

They don't recieve the emails at all, or the emails end up in a spam folder?
If they don't recieve them at all, do you get any bounce messages that might tell you what's going wrong?
And one thing to check: lots of email providers use reverse DNS to determine if an email is spam or not. If your server doesn't have a reverse dns entry, add one

They dont get them at all. And Im not really sure where to add my reverse dns entry. Is it too much to ask to help me out. Or is there a free email sever I can try that will easily let me manage these things? Thanks...

What design is that which you used? that lets you add comments in the front for the page and then a different link to the forum... that is pretty cool.

I have a similar problem. My problem is that certain email providers for some reason don't receive the emails sent by punBB. Gmail receives then fine but Hotmail, MSN and other's don't I have pretty much the same configuration as the guy above (I haven't touched the settings in windows xp smtp server). Can anyone help? Thanks

Hello everyone!
I would like to create my own code. I would like user's on my website to have this tag [verse]Mateo 2:1[/verse] and whatever they put between it will make it a link to Biblegateway link the link below:
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mateo 2:1&version=60

I don't know what to edit or where to go. Im a newbie in php and javascript but if you guide me where to go and what to change I will be able to make it work. Thanks in advance for your help.

Another example of what I mean.

bbcode
[verse]Juan 3:16[/verse]

Will generate this link
<a href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Juan 3:16&version=60">Juan 3:16</a>

All that will need to be changed is the result after '?search=' and before '&version=60'
Thanks for your help....
