The file or a symlink to it
How does a symlink looks like?

Ok, I've understand now. :-) But this makes no sense to me. The mod just break the limitations of the regular moderators. Well.

Re: Global Moderation 1.0 (10 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 modifications, plugins and integrations)
lol, that's what the mod does
You don't understand correct. There are two diferent types of moderators now. Global and specific ones. Global moderators have the right to do moderation stuff everywhere, so specific moderators only have the right to do this in their own specific forum. like it was in punbb before the mod.

Nice mod, Nick. Very needful to me. Thanks.
But it might be a bug. Now every specific moderator has moderation rights everywhere in the forum. Not only in his own specific forum.

I agree with Paul, php would be a bad solution. I see much more problems on the horizont.

new ie update: seems to work correctly now. only had problems with images in topics still written in 1.2 - all topics written with 1.2.1 are ok, but resizing only works in ie after reload. no caching problem! anyone else with the same problem?

Re: PunBB 1.2.1 (76 replies, posted in News)
Does your site design use max-width at all?
It's an old-fashioned table design with a fixed width. (see links in signature) The scaling works fine, but the design is bloating of as if the image is still be big. But this is probably not your problem, paul. :-)

Re: PunBB 1.2.1 (76 replies, posted in News)
Update: IE with js destroys site design also.

Re: PunBB 1.2.1 (76 replies, posted in News)
I'm very sad !!!!
Why replacing scrolling div method by scaling method !!!
Images loose their apparence, it pixellises ....
What a pity.
I don't understand also. Scrolling was a smooth way to get this. Now every big image will become grainy. And every IE without javascript distroys my site design. :-(
Is there a way to change a 1.2.1 installation back to scrolling? Just asking. :-)

Re: INFO: Bad HTTP_REFERER (180 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
it appears on all pages that cause an info message to be displayed (e.g. wrong username/password, a missing field in a form etc.)
You've right, Rickard! Everytime an info message should be displayed. Not really a referrer issue.

Re: INFO: Bad HTTP_REFERER (180 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
Ok, situation has changed a bit. :-)
The error only occur if you searching a word that isn't existing in the database. If a word was found, all works fine. Strange.

Re: INFO: Bad HTTP_REFERER (180 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
browser referrer logging enable -> phpadsnew error code
browser referrer logging disable -> it works fine
I know it probably is a phpadsnew problem, but only happens on search or admin activities.

Re: INFO: Bad HTTP_REFERER (180 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
I use punbb with phpadsnew on my site. Both use referrer, but don't work together in harmony. So it isn't realy a problem, because punbb only checks the referrer on moderators or admins aktivities. Normal user don't be affected. But now i have seen, search.php don't works correctly. Only if i disable referrer logging on my browser it works right.
Is there a referrer check in search.php?

IP's just will displayed if you logged in as Admin. Every 'normal' user won't see the IP.

Although, the ads are ruining it...
You're right! Banner ads are always annoying. So, I removed them. Today you don't make money with banner ads anyway. Looks much better now. :-)

Beside our german art board we realized an english art board with punbb too. It was very easy to customize. Thanks again.
