Yes, and in 1.3 you're checking a box to toggle it on/off. I do that on my digitial clock at home (the button thing): it seems fine to me tongue

So what should I do to correct for daylight savings if I am not running 1.3??

As a user? Change your timezone. As an admin? Let your users correct it themselves, not everyone observes DST
