Topic: Admin Login? New Admin Account w/o login?

Hey there,

I have a big problem.
I have logged out, as the admin of my forum. Now I want to log in again. So far so good. I have changed my user name earlier to "à bas!".
Well, I guess there is the problem. Now I can not log in anymore, b/c PunBB does not accept my user name. I tried it through a password request, to get my user name, as PunBB wants it. But this one does not work ether.

Can you help me? What can I do, to get a new admin user to work? Or can I do anything else?

if you can get myphpadmin access to your database, you should be able to rename "à bas!". to something like "abas". Might just be a problem with encoding, and not knowing that "à bas!" in the input field is the same as "à bas!" in the database.

I'd backup the database before you do anything though, since I may be wrong, and there probably is an easier way to do this.
