Topic: Please me save the following vertical space in viewtopic.php

This is a big ask but here is what I want to achieve. I have done the below images just using an image editor, not by changing any forum code.



Currently posts, look like this

But here you can see that by grouping the various bits on info, some vertical space is saved

We can take this a step further like this:

And then we can take the idea to its fullest extreme here:

If you apply the above principles then the topic views are much more efficient and there is very little wasted vertical space and less information trying to catch your attention when all you really want to know is WHO said it and WHAT did they say. The other info is very much secondary and should therefore not take up more space than is needed.

I'm going to post this to the forum where the people who created this forum software hangout to see if they can help me implement it.

Image #3 is probably my preferred one because #4 is just a step too far I think, but it does demonstrate the principle that I'm trying to achieve.

Anybody up for this challenge?
It would save 3 vertical lines per post. With 2 posts per page that is a lot of space saved and a more efficient view.

Nice idea, I like it. It can really save space, but the most important is more efficient view and faster reading I think.

There is too much information that is not important enough to have its own line in every single post of the forum.

Information is disjointed and it isn't clear what 'posts' or '1895' for example actually relate to.

However it may be possible to style it like you want via CSS.
