You shouldn't replace.
Just upload the folder with the style into styles folder and enable it in ACP/UCP.

Find:
#brd-head{background:#f5f5f5;color:#222}in oxygenblack.css
and replace #222 value with your own.

It's great theme, but once I log in it returns to Oxygen... I don't know why
