hi. first off I really dig punbb, it´s simple design is very refreshing.
is there any way to move a message from one forum to the other as admin? for some reason I couldn´t figure it out so far.

There's a link: "Move topic" in the bottom left corner of the page.
If you mean moving a post (and not a topic), there is no way. It will be possible in 1.1 though.
yeah, I meant moving a single post (sorry for being unclear). it often happens that somebody puts a (valid) post into the wrong topic or forum. it would be great if there was a way to move that single post to somewhere else in the board.

Ah, I see. I don't believe anyone has made a "move a single post" mod yet.
A split topic mod was made, just not for 1.2.x yet
just to check.. as of 1.2.2, is it now possible to move topics and also move individual posts?
is the split topic mod necessary for both of these features?

Correct...You can move a topic, and even leave a redirect topic behind.
However, you cannot move individual posts.
*gulp*
Now I really hate that I am not a programmer... Far from that...(being a complete alpha)
Using PunBB for a forum with computer novices too, it is terrible not to be able to move a individual post. :-(
And I thought this was such a basic feature... But it seems it isn't...
I really love PunBB because of its basic look and feels... But no one made it jet?!?!
