Topic: redundant - Header help

I am new to this and would like to add a banner to the top of my new forum.  I would appreciate step by step instruction, yes like a baby, how to do this.  I want to have a successful forum and I would be greatful for the help.

I guess it would depend on the banner code and exactly where you want to place it. My guess would be to put it in include/template/main.tpl after </head> Use the pun_include so it looks sort of like this <pun_include "banner.php"> At least that's how I added my header to my forum  http://www.sellerscircle.com/forum/

What kind of banner is it? I mean, how would you display it on a regular HTML page?
