Topic: I am a total noob and i need help..please
i put everything in a folder on my website ftp, and opened the install.php, nothing happened and it opened a word pad file with a bunch of text scripts.. i am lost.. help..

you need to navigate to your newly installed /install.php in your web browser...
not on your local computer.
