The story behind this is that I have posted messages on a private forum with three moderators with my real name as username. Some time ago the name was changed to another and I can not longer log in. I guess it’s only moderators who can change a user name, but all three deny and say that there must be a bug in the program responible for this. I find it strange that only my name would be changed among all 500 users.

Is there a log of what has happened with my account? Would it be possible to see when and by whome the name change was done?

The version of the forum should be 1.2.12

if you reload it will cause to double post or if you go back you will see not post, but in reality the post was made.

Maybe the same is happening when making new post. I been deleting lots of double post

Since 1.2.20 update there is no update script that changes version number of runnning forum (in 1.20 update there was extras directory with upgrade script).

Not my code by the way it's the way FluxBB does it.

I'm not sure how this happened, but spam was being posted into the forum, with usernames that do not exist in my database, and the users all had a user ID of 1 (which is the guest ID). I managed to block this spam but adding some extra checks in post.php blocking guest posts.

What I don't understand is how this happened.
- I double-checked all user groups and guests do not have permission to post
- I check all forums and guest post permissions were all turned off here
- I also cross-checked the IP addresses of the posters and the spammers are not any IPs of users that logged into the site

Does this look like there might be a security hole somewhere? Any ideas how this may have happened?

why Do you use update_forum function in functions.php FOR EACH each replie, your selecting 2 Queries + the 3 already from replying when u just can add replies=+1 and just when people create a topic just add 1 query to add to num_topic..
This could save major query performance.. i hope they fixed this in the new punbb.

Quite recently I found out that some posts were being ignored when rebuilding my search index.

i.e. I can search and find a specific word in say, a particular topic of a particular section, but in some other cases the word I'm looking for simply just won't show.
I tested with plenty of words wihtout any ' or - or . next to them and the results seems to be clear; some of the posts on my forum do not get indexed and if they do, results simply won't show.

I'm under 1.2.22 and this problem is recent, so it may have occured when I moved from 1.2.16 to 1.2.22
