I understand. One thing which brings me concern is that you arnt focusing on 1.3? well you are for now but your focus will be on a newer version.

I completely agree.

But it is logical that a new markup (or maybe some kind of template system) will be adopted in the next version of PunBB. To change the markup of 1.3 means at least to cause a headache to extension developers. Personally I'd like to fix all bugs of 1.3 and to start developing of a new version.

I would strongly rethink the actions said above.

The markup/css is no where near ready for proper use as intended to. It wasn't designed to be used properly and thus isn't as friendly and as good as it could be, this is the reason its being redesigned.

No markup changes are planned for PunBB 1.3. We've had enough while adopting Paul's markup for PunBB 1.3 final release.

However, the markup contains several bugs. We'll fix them.

We don't plan to import code changes from FluxBB 1.3 except certain bug fixes.

Is PunBB planning on using the markup changes that Fluxbb 1.3 will create, once it is released?

What are your plans regarding fluxbb 1.3? Will you use any of the code for improvments to PunBB ?
