This option is not related with notifications about new topics/posts. There is no such option in the PunBB core.

I'm new to PunBB, so sorry if there's an obvious answer to the question. Is there a way to receive email notifications on new postings/topics? Our forum will be used to handle support requests, so it would be useful to receive email notifications to answer support requests faster. I've already enabled the option 'Both by internal report system and by e-mail to those on mailing list. ' under 'Method for receiving reports of posts and topics', but this didn't do the trick. Thanks!
