Noticed one error - After forum update the 'avatar' field in table users is set to default => no avatar. IMO it should be handled in db_update.php. Also I believe more appropriate name for the column would be 'avatar_type' now, although it isn't that important...

What’s new and improved in Beta 2 (from 1.4 Beta 1).

1. Fixed errors with doubled topics and «has posted» feature.

2. Dont mask passwords feature
Now admin can disable masking passwords in register and remember password forms.
Its makes forms easy for user. Login form always mask passwords.

3. Forum subscriptions feature
Now user can subscribe to forum and receive email messages when anybody create topic in this forum.

4. New Internet Explorer detection system
We use new method for IE-detect. Now HTML element of forum page have class with IE version.
For example: <html class="oldie ie8">

5. New parameter sort fo extern.php
Now you can select sort order of topics in extern.php.
