There currently is no easy way of preventing it. The most common solution is to display an image in the register form containing a certain number that must be entered manually. That solution requires GD though and I know of a lot of web hosts that don't support GD (because it can be a resource hog).

A mod perhaps?

I was wondering if there is a quick fix or if there is a bug that needs to be fixed?
