Well, here's the new topic. I've downloaded Private Message for my forum, but when I go into Private Message on the Plugin section of the administration panel, it says:
"An error was encountered
Error: Unable to fetch user group list." Anyone who knows what it means?
Enable debug mode, paste the full message
Uh, what debug mode? And what message should I paste?

go back and look for a post with the name "debug" in.
Its pretty obious.
Well, excuse me if I did misunderstand something or if my English understanding is bad or whatever. But, I can really not see what you mean with a post where I can enable a debug mode. A post where? Do you mean a file or what?

There is pretty many "g_pm" in the AP_Private_messaging though. And line 118 doesn't exist, appearently, or it is the last line where it not is.
Run install_mod.php for the PM mod.
Thought I did that. Something special I have to do to run it? (You'll have to excuse me, but doing this kind of stuff is not my speciality)
No, you just have to upload it to your forum root, navigate to it with the browser and press the button.
On Internet Explorer I can't see any button to press when I upload the file to the forum folder in the ftp. I've given all the writing rights on the install_mod.php btw, if that might've caused some problems.
You go to
http://www.yourdomain.php/forumdir/install_mod.php
A button should appear.
I don't have a domain with the suffix .php but I have uploaded it to ftp://ftp.mydomain.com/mydomain/forum/
This is where all my other forum-related files are. I thought that would be enough.
That doesn't matter, a little mistake on my end. The point is you have to access it through the web server. The same way as you'd look at your forum.
I've now have I uploaded install_mod.php to WebShell, the control panel for my ftp which my server refers to. But the error text remains though.
When you installed PunBB, you went to the page: [http://your.domain/]install.php, and did the install. Right. Well now go to: [http://your.domain/]install_mod.php with your browser and click the install button.
you have to run install_mod.php in HTTP not FTP: http://galacticempire.se/forum/install_mod.php I can the the button, I have even been able to run the script so it should work now.

Okay, will remember that. But...anyone who knows what this is? I can not run the install_mod?

that's because I already ran it. Try to access the plugin in the management interface
