Need help with a few changes

Hey, I have been running a Punbb forum for about 3 months now and all has been good, (apart from the amount of spam, which I am yet to deal with), but I was wondering how to change a few things.

Firstly, when a topic is displayed and it says:

'Topic' by 'name'

Can the 'by name' part be moved into a fourth colum on the right next to where the 'Last Post' colum is?

Secondly, at the top of the page when a user is logged in, could the users current avatar be displated to the left of this?
Like on SMF forum, here is a screenshot of what I mean:

Thats all I can think of right now, any help with this would be much appreciated.
