OMG!
Wow.. Thats nice
That's so amazing!
Punbb is no doubt a cool phenomena... like... facebook has just been featured on world-wide news, it's a huge talk about it the last days... and when it comes to set up a comunity they pick a software developed by one single person in his spare time until not so long ago.
No offense to other forum softwares out there, but just compare the amount of people and/or money involved in punbb with vbulletin or phpbb.
Punbb rocks
never thought such a plain theme would look so appealing.
Nice and simple.
Interesting CAPTCHA too on the registration page - http://forum.developers.facebook.com/register.php - using http://recaptcha.net.
Must look into that.
Yeah, you can even get oxygen to look good with that style

sirena: That captcha is illogical... if you're 'helping' to decypher old books, how the hell can the software know that what you say is in the picture is actually correct?
But that is indeed a nice spotting.

It compares the translations of multiple people.
ANyone - aside from the Facebook guys - done an install or plugin of recaptcha for a punbb. I notice recaptcha.net have plugins for phpbb2, vb, wordpress etc, but no punbb.
No, but it looks like it should be no more difficult than Akismet, which isn't very difficult at all.
They have updated it slightly... it looks even better now.
PunBB, it rocks my socks.

To add to what Smartys said, reCaptcha presents a user with one known word and one unknown word, the assumption being that if you can read and type the known word correctly you should be able to do the same for the second. The unknown word will be considered "deciphered" once a certain number of users (three? -- it seems like their docs said that but I can't remember) type identical results.
Right, I forgot to mention that, thanks pogenwurst
In fact, I come to punbb.org because I saw facebook is using it. You guys should be very proud of this.
OK, more in fact, i was too amazed about this so I post a blog article here: PunBB powers Facebook Developers Forum
