Topic: How to perform a search which exclude the signature

Hello,

I am using punbb and I would like to know if there is a way to exclude from the search the information contained in the signature?

Erm, the standard PunBB search will most certainly not search signatures.

ooopss sorry you are right, I mixed different things (as the google search integration). Let me reformulate :
I need to search texts which look like that 70-200 (this is related to the photography) and apparently the search doesn't take the "-" as a searchable character. I looked into the .php and found some regular expression which seems to delete this charater when it is present but :
1- I am not sure it is that
2- I don't know how to modify it

PS : I am not at home and have no access the file (search.php I think) where I have seen this expression.
