Topic: Google Analytics Plugin

Hello - first off congrats on selling the code! That's cool.

Secondly, I'm trying to create a Google Analytics plugin, to display the javascript at the end of the page right before the closing body tag. I got the admin control to work, but I'm not sure how to hook into the footer.php file. Currently I'm testing to see if the config array has the code element in it, but I'd rather insert it from the outside.

Just add the code on main.tpl, before </body>. No need for a plugin

Indeed, a plugin is not what you're going for. A plugin allows you to add a tool to the administration pages.

how about sometype of stats mod? that displays either in a graph chart or sometype of pie ?

maybe even something like punres stats?
