I am using the attachment mod and I've never had any issues with it before. However, I am on a new host and I know my attachment directory is correct but if I save settings it works, but when I save settings again it I get the following:

That is not the problem. It also happens on my local setup so it is not a hosting issue, which is what I thought. It only happens to plugins that require a path for some reason.
I also get a double slash like this.
Like I said before, paste a copy of these plugins here and we might be able to find the issue.

The new code assumes either an absolute path or a relative path, not a path relative to the root of the site. Replacing $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] in redirects with admin_loader.php?plugin='.$_GET['plugin'] should work.
However, you are right that there's an issue, since AMP_Example.php directs plugin authors to use REQUEST_URI. 
Ok, I am lost. Exactly where do I find that. This is what I see in admin_load.php
