Topic: Restrict Categories to certain users.

Okay so when people register on my forum they're put in the "Registered Guests" group automatically.  However as soon as they post they are changed to "Member", I don't want this to happen and am not sure how to keep them as a registered guest.

Also, I only want the Registered Guests to be able to see a certain "public category" of forums while the people I chose to promote to "members" will be able to see the private section as well.  Any help would be wonderful and i know these are simple questions but i'm having a few problems with it.  thank you for your time.

PunBB doesn't automatically promote users, so you'll have to figure out what modification you installed to do that wink
