Topic: PunBB as the main frontend for a website

Is there any guides out there for making PunBB the frontend?

For example, I want a forum section called articles where only admins and mods can go in there and post a article and only allowing users to reply to it.

If I'm on the homepage, I want to be able to see the newest article and the same comments.

Has anyone done this before?

The forum section is easily accomplished via forum permissions.
The news generator plugin should be able to handle the homepage stuff.
