Topic: Error: can't create new topic or post reply

Recently, when I try to create a new topic or post a quick reply on my board, I get an error that says I can't do it.  Other users have posted new topics, and no one has said that quick reply isn't working for them, so I am just stumped on why this is happening to me.

Any thoughts on where to start with this problem?

Maybe I should just upgrade first?

Upgrading is a good idea.
If that doesn't fix it, enable debug mode and paste the full error.

I haven't had a chance to upgrade yet, but I turned debug on and this is the message I am getting:

Line: 321

PunBB reported: Unable to create topic

Database reported: MySQL server has gone away (Errno: 2006)

Talk to your host, that's their issue, not a PunBB issue.
