There were no significant markup/css changes between the packaged beta and the current svn versions. It should work on anything from the packaged beta onwards.

What is so fantastic about Oxygen Extended? Not trying to knock your work mate but c'mon. You simply changed the background color, added 2 bg images and called it extended. What is so extended about it?

Please note: "Merely a few simple changes"....
I made it clear that what you said is all that is changed, plus there is only so much you can do with the way PunBB styling is put together... Which is why there is literally a tiny tiny tiny amount of styles for PunBB.
This style is Oxygen... Extended.

I disagree. for 1.2.* we only were meant to edit the css of a style, but with 1.3 we can create our own templates meaning that the possibilities are endless, and even with hooks.

Not actually true in the case of v1.3. The difficulty, so it seems to me, is that a large proportion of people developing styles for other boards are used to hacking about with the markup, slicing up some images and then applying simple cosmetic css.
With a few minor changes to the template and new stylesheets it could be made to look like Vanilla, vBulletin or just about anything else. It does however require people to get their heads around more advanced css techniques like negative margins on floats, sliding doors for backgrounds and perhaps the bleeding edge faux absolute positioning idea.

Unless you can guarantee a production release which is free of any known bugs, then you won't have much choice, and it is fairly hard to achieve that with a single release candidate, especially under the current circumstances.
