Also a few requests for 1.3:
*The title and descriptions DIV should be joined to form 1 DIV.
*The layout .TPL files should be part of the templates and not the system.

Actually not many people seem to want custom designed templates for their PunBB so i'll soon be running a site (when PunBB 1.3 is released) with many free templates. Of course still doing custom ones at a very reasonable price 
!
This will be one of the free ones - when it is fully developed. I'm having problems with the compatibility with IE. Grrrr.
On another note... Firefox 3 release sooon!!! WOOO!!

However as far as i know about the GPL lisence and what not, its not illegal for him to do that. Yeah its not fair but not illgal
IMHO these 2 graphics (top header and header) are not on GPL licence... (just icons)
Anything developed for punbb is under GPL.... GPL is complicated as there isnt a fine line or rules.
What punbb.org team can do is give you credit?

Sorry, but it's the first time, where I see this kind of thinking. There are a lot of commercial projects made on GPL apps, and there is no reason to public them for all. So in your opinion SUSE Enterprise Server or RHEL should be free for all to redistribution without authors permission? They are based on Linux, which is in fact on GPL, but they have also closed parts, and they aren't free for all.
Looking on the GNU GPL website, there is no references of theft, however I think that might be because you cant steal something which is free.
Developers who write software can release it under the terms of the GNU GPL. When they do, it will be free software and stay free software, no matter who changes or distributes the program.
The GPL:
* the freedom to use the software for any purpose,
* the freedom to change the software to suit your needs,
* the freedom to share the software with your friends and neighbors, and
* the freedom to share the changes you make.
It dosnt protect software that you dont want anyone else to have.
So its up to you if you want to publicly show the style.. When you go onto your website, some of your images will be saved in the cache, so i have "downloaded" that file, that doesn't mean its illegal.
