Topic: Avatar problem

Hi smile

New user here.  I created my own forums using the PunBB software, and I'm testing it out at the moment.

I ran into a problem uploading an avatar.  It claims: "The file you tried to upload is not of an allowed type. Allowed types are gif, jpeg and png."

I've got this in gif and jpg formats.  I've looked through this forum to no avail.  Anyone run into this?

By the way, I do have 777 set on the directory smile

Just found out it allows PNG, but I haven't been able to upload jpg or gif.  Any suggestions?

That's odd. Could you paste an URL to the forums so we can check it out ourselves?

I set it on my work machine and emailed you about it, but now a jpg works from my work machine.

Hmm - maybe it's my home machine?  I'm going to have to do some investigating.
