Topic: Links point to *.html instead of *.php
Hello
I've been using punbb 1.2 for years now and it's been great.
When I tried punbb 1.3 on a new forum, all the links ended with .html instead of .php.
Does anyone know the cause of this?

you have the mod-rewrite enabled.
go to your admin panel and then settings.
almost down on the page you will find "URL scheme:"
there you can set if your links should end with php or fancy with html.
If you want normal just use "Default"

Any idea on how to do that when I'm not able to log in

the only way to do that is to login to your phpmyadmin of your webhost and change it to Default in the config table, I think!

I found this entry:
o_sef File_based_(fancy)
Should I change it to default?
EDIT: I tried that, didnt' work.

It works but after that you need to remove the config cache file in the directory cache
