Topic: How can I turn on SEO friendly URLs in my Punbb forum?

I saw many forums with nice URLs for posts and categories...

I thought this was standard inclusion in PUNBB... But I just installed it and cant see the option in the admin CP. Can anyone point me in the right direction or let me know what I need to do..

If you use PunBB 1.3 go to <FORUM_URL>/admin/options.php?section=setup in part 6 you can change URL scheme.

For 1.2 You will have to use a mod which will reqire a lot of edits to the core files, Might be best of going with 1.3

so much confusion fluxbb guys and punbb guys have created here. I am completely lost it tickles always punbb fluxbb.

I do suggest you remain the original url. coz i'm ever using a url rewrite mod..it sucks.and after you install it, you can not moderating forum topics.(http bad reffer).

and it's really no good .. useless

besides: it's NOT SEO friendly !! not
