Yeah I think I do .. I am unsure of the what CSS values to change to give over all layout control to my <div> for example centering the hole site just basicly I have encased the forum in a content <div> I want the forum to sit in this content <div>

Can't say specifically, but setting your html/body width to auto should sort that, I believe.
