Topic: Language pack versionning question

The wiki stores language packs for version 1.2 or 1.3, but does not make a difference between 1.3.2 and 1.3.3, for example.

What is the rule for that concern? Are language packs backward compatible with minor versions, so we can keep only the latest 1.3.3? Shall we upload a new language pack, thus breaking the naming rule?

It looks like french language pack already broke the rule, but I want to make sure.

Re: Language pack versionning question

It is a very nice idea to have changes in a language pack in wiki, now you can see changes only in trac (Here are the differences between 1.3.2 and 1.3.3). It will be useful for extensions' developers too.

In most cases they are compatible.

Re: Language pack versionning question

I think we should keep only language packs for the last release. It's unlikely that somebody wants to download a language pack for 1.3.2 when 1.3.3 is released.

Re: Language pack versionning question

We have added a file with the list of differences between 1.3.2 and 1.3.3 in lang files, and a link to this file to the wiki page.
