Topic: disabling flood control

I have a forum that I only use to keep in touch with a handful of old friends, and we don't get spam -- I'd like to turn off flood control so people can post more quickly.  I was able to do this with an older version of punbb but I can't figure out how to do it with 1.3.  Can anyone tell me how or direct me to another thread where this has been answered already?  Thanks.

Thanks.  Maybe you can be a little more specific on what I'm supposed to do with that, since I'm not a programmer.

Delete the 2 lines after '//Flood protection'.

There is no need to touch any line of code. Go to Administration » Users » Groups, then click "Edit this group" link near the group in question (probably, "Members"). You can disable flood protection there.

Ah -- that's right.  For some reason the location for that setting seems counter-intuitive to me; i don't know why, because it makes sense when I think about it, just not when I'm looking for it.

Thanks to both of you -- I initially deleted the code, but I think I'll put it back in case i need it later.
