Topic: WYSIWYG (bbcode) editor for punbb

after browsing many sites i have seen that there are many html wysiwyg editors for punbb

but there are very few bbcode wysiwyg editors

-Vbulletin's editor (very hard to understand code)
-http://www.anelectron.com (really good editor)
-http://www.phpkf.com/ site is turkish but the editor is extremely simple and usefull better than vbulletins

Is it possible someone would copy one of these editors for punbb and publish it at punres.
i have hoteditor as wysiwyg (bbcode) atm but i really hate it.

Re: WYSIWYG (bbcode) editor for punbb

I have just discovered this software. Reading this post, and seeing the creator(s) are supportive of following standards, I wonder if they would modify a WYSIWYG bbcode editor (or write their own) to follow accessiblity standards -- in other words, to use strong tags instead of b, em tags instead of i, alt attributes in links and title attributes in img tags?

I guess regarding strong and em, that could actually be part of the software, converting the bbcode into accessible XHTML. But the others require interaction with the user/poster.

Regarding bold and italic, its already implemented. When you enter b and i bbcode tags, they are converted to <strong> and <em> html tags in the markup. Look at the source of this very page to see for yourself!

I agree. This is a fairly important feature, I'd say. When is this going to be implemented?
