Topic: How is PunBB with spam?

I've used quite a few different forums in my time, but all of them get hit pretty hard by spammers eventually.
I'm thinking of setting up a small site using punBB, but I'm wondering first of all, just how susceptible is it to spam? I don't have time to go through and delete spam posts every day, and when spam does get through, I would hope it can be handled quickly and easily.
How does punBB stack up on this front?

There is official pun_antispam extension for spam protection.

Yes, I saw that, but I was looking more for people to tell their personal experience about how it compares to other forums.

My personal experience is that as long as spammers don't target you specifically, any forum can be made spam-free by somewhat modifying the default code. I don't even remember the last time I had to delete spam from one of my forums, and I have yet to delete the first spam from the other one (both forums are PunBB, but I had similar results with PhpBB).
