Topic: New Post Icon

For some reason, even after going into a thread marked with the little ! icon, reading it, even going back out and clicking on the New Posts link, the forum doesn't seem to clear the little icon. Only clicking Mark all forums as read seems to do anything. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? tongue

The new post icon signifies messages posted since your last visited not messages that you have not read. The fact that you subsequently read them does not make any difference.

Yes. It's supposed to be that way :)

PunBB don't remove the icon when you read the threads. It's removed after some time instead (don't know exactly how long). Not removing it makes the forum a bit faster.
